Maggie’s Page

Maggie comes to storytelling initially through the route of work in ‘early years’, and later with primary age and adolescents.

Maggie is experienced in performance storytelling and leading storytelling workshops.  She works extensively though not exclusively in schools, storytelling to children and leading storytelling workshops, "Breaking Away from Print" both with children and teachers.

Maggie has a particular interest in working with storytelling outdoors.

Maggie’s style of storytelling is high energy, participative, inclusive and fun. She undertakes this work both in a solo capacity and together, with  storytelling partner, Susan Samm, performing as ‘StoryRoots’ www.storyroots.com, and also with musician, Jackie Allen. Together Jackie and Maggie present: Musical Stories & Dancing Tales.
